Built Green has selected Dwell Development’s Rainier Vista micro-community as their featured project for January!

As part of their communications efforts, BuiltGreen, a non-profit, residential building program of the Master Builders Association publishes a monthly newsletter, selecting a project for each issue that meets the high standards and goals they’d like builders to aspire towards.

In the January issue, the cover story features Dwell Development’s 4 unit micro-community at Columbia Station in Rainier Vista.  This micro-community will grow to 15 units of affordable  housing and are cited as “great example(s) of 5-Star green building and design at an accessible price point.”

February 7th, 2012:  We’re less than 60 days from completion!  Sheet rock and paint are in.  Now the fun part–the home stretch.  Cabinates arrive this week at 2140 E. Pine.

With an estimated completion of Summer 2012, here you can follow its progress!

 

Foundation is in and slab is poured at 4318 S. Ferdinand.  We’re waiting for the framing panels.  There’s still time to lock into a pre-sale on this high style modern view home!

We have had such a busy Fall, filled with some prestigious awards!  First we announced having won the Northwest EnergyStar Builder Award for 2nd place Home of the Year, 2010-2011, and we followed up by proudly accepting the Master Builders Association Built Green Hammer Award in the Builder, Small Production category.  With 5 home certifications in 2010, Dwell Development built some of the program’s highest scoring production homes.

We’re just a few weeks from completion on this this 5-Star Built Green modern home in Central Seattle!  The exterior is painted, floors are in and cabinets have arrived!

UPDATE, OCTOBER 30TH – COMPLETED!

Dwell Development just completed this home at 19th & E. Jefferson.  It exceeds Built Green 5-Star & is targeting LEED Platinum certified!!!  See below!

…Dwell Development had to install pin piles during the ground prep work and engineering.  Notice the views in the concrete pour pix.

Early August saw the foundation form and pour…

   

By late August, Dwell Development was framing the first floor.

 

About five weeks from ground breaking the second floor framing is almost done.  Pictured above is of the breeze way to the Master wing.

LATE SEPTEMBER UPDATE:

   

The second story is up and the roof is being installed…windows will arrive soon.

LATE OCTOBER UPDATE:

4601Dwell Development is moving right along. The siding is installed (see image below) and we are moving to insulation and sheet rock next week. Estimated completion is January 2012, ahead of schedule.
